All about postage/shipping
We all love the idea of "free postage" or "free shipping" but we all know it is not really free don't we?! It's just included in each item. So if you order more than one you pay way over the odds in p&p.
I prefer to be fair and so your total basket weight decides the cost of your P&P and also it depends where in the world you are. This is why it is calculated after you pop your details in to order. Unfortunate, so here is a guide to my charges.
Shipping/Postage/P&P basically it all means the cost of the materials used to keep your item in tip top condition (cello bag, labels, cardboard box, or bag, tape etc.) plus the cost of actually posting and maybe a little for the cost of getting it to the post office too! I keep my prices as low and as fair as I can even with all the price rises from Royal Mail.
Lots of my products will fit in a 'large letter' box which is cheaper than a small parcel, some have larger wires or are heavier and so will mean a jump in price to small parcel. With some of the larger books or larger orders I use recycled packaging to keep your charges down and also, you know be greener!
I am now sending all UK parcels with royal mail tracked 24 after some issues with parcels not arriving or mysteriously disappearing.
INTERNATIONAL customers - I have now added some countries outside of the UK but you may be liable to pay import VAT in your country to receive your items. Unfortunately Brexit has added ridiculous new paperwork and rules to micro businesses like mine. I will be sending international orders signed and tracked only.
Feel free to message me if you have questions or comments.
Thanks,
Wendy
